Drug paraphernalia found along Moira River

  • March 26, 2013 at 10:37 am

This past weekend, QNet News reporter Suzy Coolen noticed drug paraphernalia littered at the shore of the Moira River. The items are located by the foot bridge, in easy sight from the trail. Small kids, dogs and wildlife all explore this shoreline, and so these biohazardous waste material is a major concern. Needles, a crack pipe and an emptied biohazard waste container were all left at the site. Seeking out answers for why this is came back with the results that all safe drug use kits are given out anonymously, therefore relying on that user’s good will to throw out these materials safely.
