Live discussion March 24, 7 p.m : Belleville Transit

Major changes are proposed for Belleville Transit. Have your say.  On Monday March 24 from 7pm to 8pm join QNetNews reporters Katy Burley and Katie Coleman for a live online discussion

Transit manager and planner for the city of Belleville, Matt Coffey, will be joining the discussion to field questions, concerns, suggestions, etc.
According to the city’s Strategic Plan 2012-2032, the goal for transit is:

• Plan and develop a safe and efficient road and transportation system that addresses the needs of our residents and businesses
• Develop a viable, affordable and accessible public transit system that addresses the needs of our citizens
• Plan and develop transportation networks for cyclists and pedestrians
• Encourage and support development and upgrading of transportation systems and networks beyond City limits that address the needs of our citizens and businesses

The discussion will be focused on if these goals are being met and what changes should be made to meet them.
