Toronto man nabbed for stunt driving on the 401

NAPANEE – A Toronto man is facing charges after the Ontario Provincial Police’s Napanee detachment stopped a speeding vehicle travelling east on Highway 401 Saturday morning.

Officers clocked the motorist at a speed of 157 kilometres an hour at 10:41 a.m.

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old man was charged with stunt driving. He was served a seven-day driver’s license suspension and his vehicle was seized.

The man has been issued a summons to appear in the provincial court in Napanee on April 7.
