CAMPBELLFORD – A provincial all-candidates meeting of Northumberland-Peterborough South was held Tuesday night at the Campbellford District High School.

The public was able to do a meet and greet with the candidates for the approaching provincial election. They also participated in a question and answer session to learn more about the candidates and their proposed platforms.

The candidates who participated in the meeting were Lou Rinaldi, the Liberal incumbent, David Piccini of the Progressive Conservatives, Jana Papuckoski of the NDP, Derek Sharp of the Trillium Party and the Green Party’s Jeff Wheeldon.

This is a new riding that was established in 2015 and it will be the first provincial election that will occur for Northumberland-Peterborough South.
