Is a regional transit system possible in the Belleville/Quinte West area?

BELLEVILLE – Transit services are essential for many people to get to school, work and wherever they need to go.

But in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties – including the cities of Belleville and Quinte West – there is no regional transit system. Without that, it can be difficult for people to live, work and play in different parts of the region. 

QNet News spoke to representatives from Belleville Transit, Quinte Access and Loyalist College about what it would take to put a regional transit system in place.
