Extreme cold weather affecting school bus service throughout Belleville area

BELLEVILLE –  School buses were cancelled Monday as a result of the extreme cold weather throughout Hastings and Prince Edward counties and beyond. 

Temperatures with the wind chill can make the weather feel like -33 C with risks of frostbite. 

Tri-Board Student Transportation Services reported total bus cancellations for all three of its school boards including Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board, Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and Limestone District School Board.
