Heavily intoxicated man arrested in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – A heavily intoxicated man was arrested in the east end of Belleville Monday, city police say.

The 60-year-old Belleville man was arrested at 3:30 p.m., police say, when they responded to a call in the east end. They arrested the man for his own protection and that he was released once he was sober, police said.
