Belleville police investigating suspicious garage fire
BELLEVILLE – A suspicious garage fire is being investigated after Belleville firefighters and police were called to a home in the far east end late Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the fire at 5:27 p.m.Wednesday.
The garage was engulfed in flames and destroyed, police say.
After investigating further, police say they found that windows were smashed and an ignitable liquid was poured around the home on the property.
Police say there were no injuries.
Belleville fire and forensic investigators are still investigating the fire.
