Two hit and runs in Belleville Monday

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police say that there were two separate hit and runs in the city Monday.

According to police, the first accident was a three-vehicle collision on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road near Hamilton Road at 5:42 p.m.

The car that police say rear-ended two others fled the scene. It is described as a white hatchback.

There were no injuries.

On Sidney Street at 11:20 p.m., a woman reported that her car had been struck by a blue or black hatchback that fled the scene.

Police are investigating.
