Man killed in Hallowell car crash identified

BELLEVILLE – The man who was killed in a car accident on Prince Edward County Road 17 in Hallowell ward this past Saturday has been identified as 30-year-old Joshua Heisie of the county.

The OPP said the accident happened around 4:30 p.m., when a car driven by Heisie collided with a propane truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the other driver was not seriously injured, and charges are not expected.

County Road 17 has been fully reopened, police say.
