Finance Minister says budget will focus of government spending

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty says his next budget will focus on moderate measures to curb government spending and won’t be draconian. Premier Dalton McGuinty is telling Ontario doctors not to expect a raise. A northern Alberta First Nation has lost a legal fight to force the government to inform it before granting oil sands leases on aboriginal territory.
