Breaking News: Body pulled from Moira River

BELLEVILLE – A rainy Remembrance Day has turned tragic after a body was found in the Moira River.

Belleville Police says that around 2:30 p.m. they were called to Victoria Park near the CP rail tracks. With the assistance of the Belleville Fire Department, the body of  a man was pulled from the river.

The coroner’s office and the Belleville Police forensic identification unit are assisting with the investigation. No other information is being released at this time.
