BELLEVILLE – You might want to hold off on breakfast before coming to school Thursday.

Food For Learning, a student program through the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, is holding a St Patrick’s Day-themed fundraiser in the college cafeteria at 9 a.m.

For $3 (cash only) you can enjoy a plate of green shamrock-stamped pancakes, maple syrup and bacon.

The event is aimed at raising awareness of the positive effects of nutrition and the influence it has on a student’s overall learning experience.
