QHC still looking for local input

  • October 27, 2015 at 10:39 am

By Jordan Merkley

BELLEVILLE – Quinte Health Care is asking local residents for their input and recommendations on the future distribution of services across the four hospitals.

There is a link on the right side of the Quinte Health Care website where you can submit your input on the proposed long-term plans. The deadline is Oct. 30.

So far, the changes that will affect patients most are the moving of some surgical services from Trenton to Belleville, and having complex continuing care beds at Trenton Memorial Hospital.

The proposed plan will go to the QHC board in November and most of the changes will be implemented by April 1, 2016.

QNet News will have more information soon.
