PEC crash victim dies

PICTON – A woman driving a motorized scooter that collided with a pickup truck in Picton last month has died.

On the afternoon of Dec. 5, Prince Edward County OPP responded to the crash on Queen Street, where 62-year-old Leslie Chamberlain was suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. She was sent to hospital at the time and died Tuesday night.

OPP say they continue to investigate and no charges have been laid.
