Man stopped in Kaladar for speeding

BELLEVILLE – A man was stopped by the Ontario Provincial Police for driving 139 km/h on Highway 7 near Kaladar on Saturday.

OPP stopped the vehicle just after 1:30 p.m.

The driver was a 24-year-old man from Oshawa and the vehicle was seized for seven days. The man was also issued a seven day driver’s licence suspension.

He is scheduled to appear in Napanee provincial court on Feb. 25.
