Quinte Blades skaters qualify for Canada Special Winter Games

BELLEVILLE – Some skaters from the Quinte Blades Speed Skating Club have qualified for the Ontario Special Olympics team after competing this weekend.

Adam James and Kai Freeland both took first place in the 500 metres.

Nicole Ferguson also came in first place in the 500 metres and left with a gold ribbon.

All three have earned spots competing in the Canada Special Winter Games in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland from March 1 to 5, 2016.
