Drugs found during family dispute

BELLEVILLE – A family dispute investigation ended in two arrests after marijuana was found at the scene, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.

OPP were called to a home on Hollister Road in Tweed on Monday morning. Police said siblings were arguing about property ownership.

A 50-year-old Parry Sound man was arrested and charged with assault and two counts of mischief.

Meanwhile his 48-year-old brother, who lives in Tweed, was arrested and charged with growing and possessing more than 3 kilograms of marijuana, as well as drug trafficking.

Both men will appear in Belleville court in March.
