Man arrested for his own safety

BELLEVILLE – A 33-year-old Peterborough man was found passed out on the side of the street and arrested for his own safety on Monday.

The man was found at the corner of Donald Street and North Park Street, said Belleville police.

The man was given an official notice for being intoxicated in a public place, said police.
