Quinte West council to vote on money for hospice

BELLEVILLE – Quinte West may be moving closer having a hospice.

Monday night, the municipal council will vote on a motion by Coun. Allan DeWitt to move $1 million from its Sidney Fund, which normally provides money for the purchase of industrial land, to the hospice project fund.

The meeting gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
