Rick Hansen tour hits Belleville

Rick Hansen, a wheelchair athlete, came to Belleville Monday, Oct. 31 as one stop on his man in Motion tour. The tour retraced the same path he took 25 years ago.

Karen Kitchen was the final medal bearer in Belleville's Rick Hansen relay. She wheeled the medal into the Quinte Sports Center and right up on stage where she said Hansen was 'one of her idols'. Kitchen serves on Belleville's Accessability Advisory Committee.
