Man faces charges following cottage break-in

A man faces several charges after a break-in to a Wellington area cottage Friday morning.
Prince Edward OPP were called to a McKnight Lane cottage at 9:30 am to investigate a break in. A drunk man was found in the cottage and police received a brief struggle while arresting him.
Brian Villeneuve, 30, of Baltimore, Ontario, is charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and assault with the intent to resist arrest. He was also charged with trespassing after being removed from the property three days earlier and told not to return.
He will appear in Picton court August 10.
