BELLEVILLE – Police responded to a call reporting a pellet gun being fired in downtown Cobourg Wednesday.

When they arrived, they say they found a 22-year-old local woman in possession of several pellet guns, as well as over 30g of dried cannabis.

She has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of cannabis, altering or offering to alter cannabis using an organic solvent, and failure to comply with a judicial release order.

She will appear in court Thursday.
