Man attempts to break into local business

BELLEVILLE – Belleville police are looking for information to catch a man who attempted to gain entrance to a business on Front Street around 5:00 p.m. on Monday night. 

Police responded to a call about a man who smashed a window at the local business. Witnesses describe the suspect as a 6’2 male with a slender build. He was wearing a black winter coat and a black mask. 

The male fled northbound on Front Street on foot and has not been identified as of yet. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cst Mike McCurdy.
